Chinese Water Deer Hunting
Chinese Water Deer is second only to the Muntjac as our smallest deer in the UK. It is also the only deer that we have that does not have antlers. Chinese Water Deer is another import from the Far East, and the name gives it away from which country they are originally from. In China these deer are very difficult to find, but here in England, their population is growing every year. England is the only country that has Chinese Water Deer, ranging from the Midlands across to Norfolk. These little deer do not have antlers, but they do have tusks, and as the deer matures the tusks get longer and more predominate. Both Females and Males have tusks, but only the male Chinese water deer tusks grow longer with age. There is no better time to come to England deer hunting.
Recommended Minimum calibre for hunting Fallow is .243 or larger. If you do not wish to use your own or do not have a rifle, all of our guides have estate rifles that can be hired on a daily rate.
