Wild Boar Hunting in Loire Valley, France

Enjoy a fantastic week-end in a 500 hectares of stone walled estate in the Loire valley, just a few minutes from Chambord Castle, hunting in the middle of the shooting grounds of the French Kings. You will be hosted at Chateau de la Rue, and stalk wild boar during your stay at Domaine du Parc de Menars.  There is also Roe and Red deer stalking available on request. Single and parties are welcome an we will accommodate all your requests.  The standard offering is based on a 2 day stay and one Wild Boar.  The hunting area is exclusively yours during your stay.  We can organise any length of stay with a minimum of can organise driven boar hunt.

A Typical Trip

Day One

• Guests will be met at Tours airport and transported to Chateau de la Rue, freshen up
• Two minute drive to the hunting area, where you will have a test shot.
• Then hunting in the hunting ground for the Wild Boar
• After evening of hunting you will return to the hunting lodge for an after hunt drink
• You will be taken back to Chateau de la Rue, where you will have Freshly prepared traditional French Cuisine, with champagne and local wines

Day Two

• Breakfast
• Back to hunting area for mornings stalk for the boar.
• After morning of hunting return to the Chateau for lunch
• Final evening stalking for the boar, during your time hunting, our hunting success is quite high, due to the fact that the guides have been there for at least 15 years
• Return to hunting lodge for after hunt drink
• Return to chateau for dinner

Day Three

• Breakfast
• Return to Tours airport
