The Salmon can be found in the rivers from as far south as Spain to the Northern parts of Russia, Canada, Ireland and of course here in our UK rivers.The Salmon spends most of its life in the seas around the UK, as well as the north Atlantic Ocean, before returning to the fresh waters of the rivers to spawn.  It'a during this return to the fresh water you have the chance to catch these amazing Atlantic Salmon.  Conservation over the past 10 years has brought back the salmon from the brink of extinction to a high population in our UK rivers.
