Mr. Howe and Friends

Driven Pheasant and Partridge in January. Mr. Howe had contacted us at Sportingagagent.com and was looking for a Driven day, mix of Pheasants and Partridges.  As per Sportingagent.com's way, we wanted to know more about what he was looking for in the day.  Where in the country would be best for his friends? What ability of shooters would make up the day? What level of hospitality? etc. etc. After we spoke about his driven Pheasant and Partridge day, I recommended a shoot, just off the A1, in the Midlands, with a mixed bag of birds, etc.

What an excellent day they had. The target bag was 150, and they ended up with 147, and a good mixture of Pheasant and Partridge, with missed Woodcock and Snipe, just to keep everything interesting!  One of the guns had forgotten his Wellingtons, not a problem, we always have a few extra pairs, and then another gun was running out of cartridges, but again, we were able to help him out.  Wives and girlfriends came along to watch and give moral support where needed! This all added to the enjoyment of the day, and the ladies were thrilled that they were encouraged to come along in the first place.

A wonderful days shooting in a beautiful area, with lots of good food to boot! And the chance for old friends to catch up. What a way to spend the day!
