Quail Hunting in Croatia

 When you think of Quail Hunting over here in the UK, you picture cold and wet hills in Ireland or Scotland, but not all Quail Hunts have to be so drab.

Croatia is a fantastic location for Quail Hunting, and their weather is a bit better than ours too. A group we recently organised a Quail Hunt for in Croatia also thought so. Mr. Widdowson and friends recently came back from their Quail Hunt, and had excellent reviews about it, saying they 'had a great time in Croatia.' Mr. Widdowson then added, 'It was lovely shooting in shorts and short sleeved shirts in the sun, rather than on a wet and windy Scottish Hill.'

Quail truly are a wild bird, and their speed and height set a good challenge for even the experienced Hunter. This is one of the main attractions of the migrating bird, and as Mr. Widdowson put it, they make for 'good snap shooting practice'. 'Numbers are not abundant, but you earn every bird you shoot.'
