Pheasants Partridges and Snow!

 Mr Douglas was looking for a  Driven Pheasant and Partridge, that was a bit special, for his wife and friends,what a location we had for them.  In his words "Superb". "What a place, what a day".  It was picture postcard perfect with a light covering of snow, and the sun shining in the clear blue sky! What more could you ask for .. well I suppose wonderful Pheasants and Partridges, and boy, did the Gamekeeper and Beaters deliver.
The booking was for a 150, mixed driven Pheasant and Partridge day with an added agenda that everyone was to enjoy themselves, and enjoy themselves they did.  Mrs Douglas who had little experience, but bags of enthusiasm had come along as a novice and had been worried that she wouldn't be able to hit Driven Pheasants, so we had arranged, as requested, for a loader for her who was also a shooting instructor. She received top coaching as we went from drive to drive. What a difference it made to her abilities to hit the Driven Partridges and Pheasants  As her confidence grew, so did her bag, increasing her best to date 6 times over!! Look out Mr Douglas, she's hot on your tail.
By the end of the day as the light was fading, and all the Pheasants and Partridge could rest easy, it was very rewarding for Bryan and I to have the team come over and thank us personally for organising the day for them. With the top quality Driven Pheasants and Partridges, location, impeccable Staff, and the perfect weather, Mr Douglas and his team made a point of thanking us for all our help and for making sure the day met their expectations.  I am glad to say that it did.  Looking forward to seeing you next season Mr Douglas.
