Danish Groups dream comes True!

Wood Pigeons on Winter rape.  It was a cold, late winter early spring day, and 3 guests have just arrived from Denmark for 3 days of Pigeon Shooting. After settling in at their lodge, which is an old converted Farm House on the Shooting grounds, Darren, the guide, arrives to introduce himself and to go over the arrangements for the Pigeon shooting trip.

By 9:30 the next morning, all the guests were out, in their hides, with wood pigeon decoys in the fields. and before Darren could get back in his truck, Pigeons where already coming into the guns range.  By 11:00 the guests where ringing Darren, " We need more cartridges, we need more cartridges!  By 4 p.m. close to 1100 cartridges had been fired...(Not all days are like this!!) but it went to show that they got one of those special days, and everything just went so right for them. The second and third days were also really good, but the first day was definitely the hightlight and made the trip more than worth while, infact, they agreed that they would never forget their experience of Wood Pigeons over decoys ....... Fantastic!
